Triumph Motorcycles has given three of its popular motorcycles a visual refresh for the 2027 model year by introducing new paint schemes for the Scrambler 400 X, Speed 400 and Speed Triple 1200 RS. While there are no mechanical changes, the fresh colour options add a more premium and distinctive look to the motorcycles. The updated models will begin reaching international markets from August 2026, with India launch timelines yet to be confirmed by Triumph India.
Key Highlights:
  • Triumph unveils new MY27 paint schemes for the Scrambler 400 X, Speed 400 and Speed Triple 1200 RS.
  • Scrambler 400 X gets a rugged Matt Khaki Green and Matt Pewter Grey finish.
  • Speed 400 receives a fresh Racing Red, Pewter Grey and Phantom Black dual-tone paint scheme.
  • Speed Triple 1200 RS adds a Jet Black, Maui Blue and Tangerine Orange colour option.

Triumph Scrambler 400 X

Triumph has unveiled a new paint scheme for the 2027 Scrambler 400 X. The motorcycle now gets a Matt Khaki Green stripe over a Matt Pewter Grey fuel tank, while the mudguards and bodywork are finished in Phantom Black, giving it a tougher, more adventure-ready appearance. Global availability is scheduled after August 2026, while its India launch will depend on Triumph India's plans.
The new colour combination complements the Scrambler 400 X's rugged styling. Its high-mounted front mudguard, upright riding position, taller seat, wide handlebar and adventure-inspired bodywork already give it an off-road character, and the khaki-grey-black combination enhances that appeal. Triumph will also offer colour-matched high mudguards as an optional accessory for buyers looking for an even more authentic scrambler look.

Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS

Triumph has also introduced a new colour option for the 2027 Speed Triple 1200 RS in international markets, while keeping the motorcycle mechanically unchanged.
The new paint scheme combines Jet Black and Maui Blue with contrasting Tangerine Orange graphics. The fuel tank features a dual-tone black and blue finish, while the tail section is finished entirely in blue. Orange upside-down front forks add a striking visual contrast, and Triumph will also offer a matching flyscreen as an accessory. The existing Granite/Diablo Red colour will continue alongside the new option.
The new colour option is expected to reach India in the coming months. Currently, the Speed Triple 1200 RS is available in Granite/Diablo Red, Granite/Triumph Performance Yellow and Jet Black, priced at Rs. 21.76 lakh (ex-showroom), while the higher-spec RX variant costs Rs. 23.07 lakh.

Triumph Speed 400

Triumph has also revealed a fresh paint finish for the 2027 Speed 400. The new premium dual-tone colour combines Racing Red and Pewter Grey with a diagonal Phantom Black stripe across the fuel tank, giving the roadster a sportier and more modern appearance. Global deliveries will begin after August 2026, while availability in India will be announced at a later stage.
The new colour scheme adds more visual appeal without changing the motorcycle's clean roadster design. The Racing Red finish adds vibrancy, while the Pewter Grey balances the overall look, with the Phantom Black stripe creating a distinctive contrast. Triumph has also retained its signature triangular tank badge, further highlighting the premium finish.
