2027 Triumph Street Triple 798 Revealed with New Engine Ahead of Global Debut on November 17

Triumph has revealed the 2027 Street Triple 798 ahead of its global debut scheduled for November 17, 2026. The new-generation roadster gets a larger 798cc three-cylinder engine, a revised chassis and an updated design. Triumph is yet to announce the complete specifications of the motorcycle.

2027 Triumph Street Triple 798: Engine

The biggest update is the new 798cc inline-three engine, replacing the 765cc unit used by the current Street Triple. The new engine is based on the powerplant developed by Triumph as part of its Moto2 programme. It features changes to the cylinder head, valve train, combustion chamber and intake ports. Triumph had earlier indicated that the new engine architecture can deliver higher performance while also reducing weight.
The exact power and torque figures for the road-going Street Triple 798 have not been announced yet. The larger displacement is expected to result in higher outputs than the current 765cc engine.

2027 Triumph Street Triple 798: New Design

The 2027 Street Triple gets a major design update. The familiar twin-pod headlamp setup has been replaced by a new lighting arrangement with perimeter LED elements and a central projector.
The motorcycle also gets a redesigned frame and a new double-sided swingarm. The swingarm appears larger than the unit on the current model, while the rear suspension layout has also been revised. The exhaust system has been moved to an underbelly position. The new layout gives the motorcycle a different appearance compared to the outgoing Street Triple.

2027 Triumph Street Triple 798: Revised Chassis

Triumph has also reworked the Street Triple's chassis. The new frame and swingarm are expected to change the motorcycle's handling characteristics, with Triumph indicating that the updated setup is aimed at improving agility.
The images show Showa front suspension, Brembo brakes and alloy wheels. Triumph, however, is yet to reveal the complete specifications of these components.

2027 Triumph Street Triple 798: Launch Date

The full reveal of the 2027 Triumph Street Triple 798 is scheduled for November 17, 2026. The company is expected to announce the motorcycle's complete specifications, features and performance figures at the event.
