Ampere Nexus EX+ Electric Scooter Launched in India at Rs 1.29 lakh with 136 Km Claimed Range
Ampere has launched the Nexus EX+ electric scooter in India priced from Rs 1.29 lakh (ex-showroom). It features a 5kW motor and offers a claimed range of up to 136 km on a single charge.

Indian EV startup Ampere has launched the Nexus EX+ electric scooter in India at a starting price of Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom). The Nexus EX+ electric scooter gets a new 5kW motor, an IP65-rated charger and an optional Intellipack connected technology package. Ampere has introduced the Nexus EX+ electric scooter in two variants. The standard version is priced at Rs 1,29,999, while the Intellipack version is priced at Rs 1,35,999 (both prices are ex-showroom). Both variants are available in Carbon Knight and Steel Grey colour options.
Ampere Nexus EX+: Powertrain, Performance & Range
The biggest update on the Nexus EX+ is the new electric motor generating a power output of 5Kw and it produces 202Nm of claimed peak torque at the wheel. The Nexus EX+ can accelerate the scooter from 0-40 kmph in a claimed time of 4.5 seconds and has a top speed of 93 kmph. This electric scooter also gets multiple drive modes - Eco, City, Power and Reverse.
Ampere Nexus EX+ Battery Pack, Charging & Range
The Nexus EX+ electric scooter gets a 3kWh battery pack and an IP65-rated charger. The Nexus EX+ can charge from 0 to 80 percent in a claimed time of 3.10 hours. Ampere states that the battery pack of the Nexus EX+ is designed to boast a life of up to 2,00,000 km and is covered by a five-year or 75,000 km warranty. The Nexus EX+ boasts a claimed range of up 136 km on a single charge.
Ampere Nexus EX+: Intellipack Features
The higher-specification Nexus EX+ can be equipped with Ampere's Intellipack connected technology suite. It works through the Ampere Connect app and adds more than 30 connected features. The system includes real-time charging status, live tracking, geo-fencing, Find My Scooter and turn-by-turn navigation. It also offers remote vehicle diagnostics, trip reports, ride statistics, charging history, energy insights, battery health monitoring and service booking.
