Aston Martin AMB 002 Roadster Unveiled: 130bhp V-Twin, 190kg and Just 300 Units

For years, Aston Martin and Brough Superior have explored the world of high-performance motorcycles with track-focused machines. Now, the partnership has taken its biggest step towards the road with the Aston Martin AMB 002 Roadster. Unlike the earlier AMB 001 and AMB 001 Pro, the new motorcycle is fully road legal and can be registered for use on public roads.
Key Highlights:
  • First road-legal motorcycle from Aston Martin and Brough Superior
  • Powered by a new 1,083cc V-Twin producing 130bhp and 110Nm
  • Weighs just 190kg and uses a titanium backbone frame
  • Production limited to 300 units, with deliveries from Q3 2027
Orders for the limited-run motorcycle are already being accepted, while the first deliveries are scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2027. Only 300 individually built examples will be produced.

The AMB 002 has been designed to look compact and aggressive, with a visually front-heavy profile. Its carbon-fibre bodywork wraps around the fuel tank and engine, while the side panels rise towards the rider. Crescent-shaped openings in the bodywork help with engine cooling and airflow. Aston Martin's signature side strake has also been reworked into the side fairing and extends towards the headlamp.

The twin oval exhaust outlets feature ribbed detailing inspired by Aston Martin models such as the Vanquish, DB12 S and DBX S. At the rear, slim light blades take inspiration from the Vulcan, Valkyrie and Valhalla. The motorcycle also gets features such as keyless operation, a backlit ignition switch and hand-finished leather seat pads.

Power comes from an all-new 1,083cc liquid-cooled 88-degree V-Twin engine. It produces 130bhp and 110Nm, with Brough Superior focusing on strong low- and mid-range torque. Despite its performance, the AMB 002 has a claimed kerb weight of only 190kg. Instead of a conventional steel trellis or aluminium twin-spar frame, the motorcycle uses a CNC-machined titanium backbone. Aston Martin says the main frame weighs around 5kg and helps achieve a 50:50 weight distribution.
One of the biggest technical highlights is the use of Brough Superior's Fior-type double-wishbone front suspension instead of conventional telescopic forks. The setup uses machined aluminium links to separate the steering and suspension functions, working with an adjustable monoshock that provides 100mm of front travel.
This layout is designed to reduce front-end dive under hard braking. Brough Superior also claims that it can improve front-end accuracy and stability, particularly at higher speeds and while braking into corners.
At the rear, the AMB 002 gets a machined aluminium swingarm mounted through the engine crankcases. It offers 124mm of wheel travel through a progressive linkage. Both suspension units feature preload and rebound adjustment.
The Aston Martin AMB 002 Roadster will be individually built, with production capped at 300 units worldwide.
Deliveries are expected to start in Q3 2027, making it one of the rare Aston Martin-branded machines that can actually be ridden on public roads.
