Bajaj Wego P9018 E3W Launched in India at Rs 4.41 lakh With Largest Battery in Segment

Bajaj Auto has launched the Wego P9018 electric Three-wheeler in India at an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 4.41 lakh. The vehicle is positioned in the electric passenger three-wheeler category and is aimed at operators running services across urban, semi-urban and rural routes. The company states that the model has been developed keeping in mind duty cycles that require longer daily running and the ability to transport both passengers and their belongings.

The Wego P9018 is fitted with a 17.7 kWh battery pack. According to the company, the vehicle delivers a certified range of 296 km on a single charge. Bajaj Auto says the range figure is supported by an updated battery management system and the use of regenerative braking. The Wego P9018 is offered with a five-year warranty.

The three-wheeler uses a two-speed transmission. Bajaj Auto claims a gradability of 36 percent, which indicates the incline the vehicle can handle while loaded. The model is designed to carry passengers along with luggage for medium to long distance operations.
