Brake the Habit: Don’t be ‘Phony’, be Real!
Using a mobile phone while driving poses significant risks not only to the driver but also to pedestrians, cyclists, and other road users. A momentary distraction, such as checking a text, can lead to dangerous situations, potentially resulting in serious accidents. To enhance safety, drivers should silence their phones and utilize car audio systems for music. If urgent communication is necessary, pulling over to a safe location is advisable. Ultimately, prioritizing safety over convenience can transform driving into a more enjoyable and secure experience.

We've all heard it a million times: "Don't use your phone while driving." When you get behind the wheel, slide that phone into silent or Do Not Disturb mode. Your friends will understand, and that message can wait. In addition to that, use the audio controls on your steering wheel or the infotainment system to manage your playlist. It keeps your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel.
If a call is absolutely urgent, pull over to a safe spot. Don't risk your life and others for a two-minute conversation.
Driving is an experience, not just a chore. The next time you get in your car, put your phone away. Enjoy the drive.
