Ferrari Amalfi Spider to Launch in India Launch Tomorrow: Expected Price, Powertrain, Features and More
Italian automaker Ferrari is set to launch the Amalfi Spider in India tomorrow; i.e. July 17th 2026. With this launch Ferrari will expand its line-up in the country and the Amalfi Spider will join the Amalfi coupe in the lineup. The Amalfi Spider is an open-top grand tourer that retains the same twin-turbocharged V8 engine, rear-wheel-drive layout and front mid-engine architecture as the coupe, while adding an electrically operated soft-top roof. Here's everything to expect from the Ferrari Amalfi Spider ahead of its India launch.
Ferrari Amalfi Spider: Design
The Amalfi Spider carries forward Ferrari's latest design language with a long bonnet, short rear deck and cab-rearward proportions. Up front, it gets slim LED headlamps connected by a black trim element, a wide air intake and functional aerodynamic elements integrated into the bumper.
Along the sides, the convertible features flush-fitting door handles, sculpted body panels and 20-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, it comes with twin LED tail lamps, quad exhaust outlets and an active rear spoiler that automatically switches between three aerodynamic settings depending on speed and driving conditions.
The key highlight is the electrically operated fabric soft-top, which opens or closes in 13.5 seconds at speeds of up to 60 kmph. Ferrari says the five-layer roof has been designed to improve cabin insulation while reducing wind and road noise.
Ferrari Amalfi Spider: Features
On the inside, the Amalfi Spider offers a 2+2 seating layout with a driver-focused cockpit. It comes equipped with a 15.6-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and an 8.8-inch passenger display.
Other features expected on the India-spec model include electrically adjustable and ventilated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, connected car technology, keyless entry, a premium audio system and multiple drive modes.
Ferrari Amalfi Spider: Power & Performance
Powering the Amalfi Spider is Ferrari's 3.9L twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine producing 631bhp and 760Nm of torque. The engine is paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels. Ferrari claims the Amalfi Spider can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.3 seconds, while 0 to 200 kmph takes 9.4 seconds. The Amalfi Spider has a claimed top speed of 320 kmph.
Ferrari Amalfi Spider: Safety
The Amalfi Spider is expected to come with Ferrari's latest driver assistance package, including adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, traffic sign recognition and a surround-view camera.
It also gets ABS Evo, brake-by-wire technology, Side Slip Control 6.1, electronic stability control, traction control, tyre pressure monitoring system, multiple airbags and front and rear parking sensors.
Ferrari Amalfi Spider: Expected Price in India
Ferrari will announce the official price of the Amalfi Spider at its India launch tomorrow. The convertible is expected to be priced at around Rs 6 crore (ex-showroom), positioning it above the Amalfi coupe in the brand's India portfolio.
