Mahindra Scorpio N Pik Up
Mahindra is finally bringing its much-awaited Scorpio N-based pickup closer to production. The company has released the first teasers of the production-spec model, giving a clearer look at its exterior and interior ahead of its global debut on August 14.
The Global Pik Up was first showcased in concept form nearly three years ago and is expected to play an important role in Mahindra's international expansion plans.Mahindra 15 Aug Event: What to Expect - BE 07, Scorpio Getaway Pickup and More
The pickup is based on the same ladder-frame architecture as the Scorpio N, but gets a completely different body designed around a lifestyle pickup format. While Mahindra has not revealed the complete specifications yet, the model is expected to share its powertrain options with the Scorpio N.
It is expected to get the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines, paired with six-speed manual and automatic gearbox options.
2. Mahindra BE 7 – August 14/15
Mahindra is also expected to showcase the production-ready version of the BE 7 electric SUV around August 14 or 15. Recent spy shots have revealed details of its cabin, including a three-screen dashboard layout.
The BE 7 will become the third Mahindra EV to feature a dedicated passenger display, following the XEV 9e and XEV 9S. The smaller BE 6 is also expected to receive a similar update in the future.
The BE 7 could use 59kWh and 79kWh battery packs, similar to the options available with the BE 6 and XEV 9e. However, its final claimed range figures could differ depending on the SUV's weight and specifications.
Mahindra is also expected to showcase the production-spec Vision S SUV during the Independence Day weekend.
3. Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq – August 15
Mahindra has teased a new top-spec version of its BE 6 electric SUV called the BE 6 Sporteq. The model is expected to make its debut at the company's Independence Day event on August 15.
The biggest change is inside the cabin, where the Sporteq will get a new triple-screen dashboard layout. It will feature three 12.3-inch displays for the instrument cluster and infotainment functions, similar to the setup seen on the XEV 9e.
The standard BE 6 variants are expected to continue with the existing dual-screen arrangement. The teaser also shows a revised interior with tan upholstery across the seats and dashboard.
No major mechanical changes are expected, meaning the Sporteq should continue with the existing BE 6 powertrain options.
4. Skoda Slavia Facelift – August 18
Skoda Auto India will launch the facelifted Slavia on August 18. The updated sedan is expected to receive styling changes, additional features and an important mechanical update.
The 2026 Slavia facelift has already been spotted testing several times. While it will not be a complete redesign, the updated sedan is expected to get a more modern appearance and a longer equipment list.
One of the biggest changes could be the introduction of an eight-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox with the 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine. The new gearbox recently made its debut with the facelifted Kushaq and is expected to replace the existing six-speed automatic.
5. Volvo EX90 – August 18
Volvo is also preparing to introduce its flagship electric SUV, the EX90, in India on August 18. It will become the Swedish automaker's third electric model in the country after the EC40 and EX30.
The EX90 carries some design inspiration from the XC90 but gets a more modern and aerodynamic appearance. Key exterior elements include Volvo's signature Thor's Hammer LED DRLs, vertically stacked headlamps and a closed-off grille with the Volvo badge.
The SUV also gets 20-inch wheels, an integrated spoiler and C-shaped LED taillights extending into the tailgate. Another distinctive design element is the vertically positioned light element on either side of the windscreen.
6. BMW X1 LWB – August 21
BMW has already opened bookings for the new X1 LWB ahead of its launch on August 21. The long-wheelbase version is aimed at buyers looking for more rear-seat space in the entry-level luxury SUV segment.
The X1 LWB will be locally produced at BMW's Chennai facility. It gets a 108mm longer wheelbase compared with the standard X1, which should translate into additional legroom for rear passengers.
Apart from the increased wheelbase, the overall design and mechanical package are expected to remain largely similar to the standard X1. The automaker has already offered the long-wheelbase version of the X1 in electric form in India as the iX1 LWB.
7. Audi Q3 Petrol – August 25

Audi India is preparing to bring the third-generation Q3 to the country, with its India debut scheduled for August 25. The new Q3 is part of Audi's upcoming product offensive in India, alongside the A5 and Q9.
The new-generation SUV gets a sharper exterior design, a more modern cabin and updated technology. For India, it is expected to be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing around 204bhp.
The engine is expected to be paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and Quattro all-wheel drive.
Expected features include an 11.9-inch digital driver's display, a 12.8-inch touchscreen, three-zone automatic climate control and a large sunroof. Audi could also introduce both SUV and Sportback body styles in India.
8. Updated Mahindra Thar – August 14/15
Mahindra is also preparing a substantial update for the three-door Thar. The updated SUV is expected to be showcased around the Independence Day period as part of the company's annual Freedom Drive event.
The refreshed Thar is expected to receive several changes aimed at making the cabin more premium and improving its equipment levels, while retaining the rugged design and off-road-focused character of the SUV.
One of the key additions could be a new 10.25-inch fully digital TFT instrument cluster, replacing the existing analogue setup. The new display is expected to show navigation information, off-road data, fuel economy and vehicle alerts.
The updated Thar could therefore offer a more modern cabin experience without moving away from its traditional lifestyle SUV identity.
9. MG Hector Hawk – August 26

The MG Hector Hawk is expected to be the final model in this list, with its launch scheduled for August 26. JSW MG Motor India is preparing to introduce the SUV as a new electrified offering for the Indian market.
The Hector Hawk is based on the Wuling Starlight 560 and is expected to be offered with plug-in hybrid and fully electric powertrain options.
The plug-in hybrid version could be particularly significant for the Indian market, as it would combine electric-only driving capability with a petrol engine for longer journeys. This could make it an interesting alternative for buyers who want the benefits of an EV without relying entirely on charging infrastructure.
Unlike the existing Hector, the new model is expected to focus heavily on electrified powertrains, giving MG a different proposition in the mainstream SUV segment.
