Celebrity chef and automobile enthusiast Gordon Ramsay was recently spotted driving the Aston Martin Valiant in London’s Mayfair district. The Valiant is a limited-production vehicle, originally commissioned by Formula One driver Fernando Alonso. It is reported to be the first Valiant delivered in Europe.
Ramsay is known for his collection of high-performance cars, previously he was seen driving his Aston Martin Valour. His latest sighting in the Valiant has drawn attention due to its rarity and connection to Formula One.
Track-Focused Design with Limited Production
The Aston Martin Valiant is a track focused version of the Valour, designed for enhanced track performance while remaining road legal. The vehicle features a aggressive aerodynamic design, including a fixed spoiler, flared side fenders, a carbon-fiber grille, quad exhausts and larger side sills. Only 38 units of the Valiant are being produced.Performance and Engine Details
The Aston Martin Valiant is powered by a 5.2L twin-turbo V12 engine that puts out 734 bhp and 753 Nm of torque mated to a 6 speed manual transmission. Aston Martin Valiant features carbon ceramic brakes and lightweight components such as a 3D-printed rear subframe, magnesium torque tube and lithium-ion battery to reduce weight.Vehicle Specifications and Driving Modes
The Aston Martin Valiant runs on 21-inch magnesium wheels with 275/35 front and 325/30 rear tires. Its suspension system is optimized with Multimatic ASV dampers and recalibrated electronics for track performance. It comes with 3 driving modes: Sport, Sport+ and Track.
Public Debut and Production Timeline
Aston Martin Valiant was first publicly showcased at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed, where Alonso drove it.
