Hyundai Creta, Alcazar and Creta Electric Lounge Editions Launched in India: What's New?

The Indian division of the South Korean automaker Hyundai has launched new Lounge Editions of the Creta , Alcazar and Creta Electric. The new Lounge Editions introduced by the company get additional rear-seat entertainment features, cosmetic changes and revised cabin trims. The Alcazar Lounge Edition is also offered with a 5-seat layout.

The Lounge Edition treatment is focused mainly on additional cabin equipment and styling changes. The 11.6-inch rear entertainment system is the key feature shared across all three models, while the Alcazar gets a five-seat layout and panoramic sunroof. The Creta Electric, meanwhile, gets a dashcam and rear wireless charger. The rear entertainment screen supports OTT content, video streaming, interactive gaming, applications through a certified app store and phone mirroring. Hyundai has also added a Lounge-specific interior theme, a revised seat pattern and Moonwhite ambient lighting. On the outside, the three SUVs get black-finished elements and a new Golden Bronze exterior colour.

The Creta Lounge Edition is based on the King variant and is available with both the 1.5-litre petrol iVT and 1.5-litre diesel AT powertrains. The exterior changes include a new Golden Bronze colour, black-painted front and rear skid plates, side-sill garnish, rear spoiler, roof rails, C-pillar garnish and ORVMs. The SUV also gets 18-inch matte-black alloy wheels.

On the inside, the Creta Lounge Edition gets the 11.6-inch rear entertainment system, silver-coloured inserts, Moonwhite ambient lighting and a new Lounge seat pattern. The rear-seat headrest cushion also gets Lounge branding.

The Alcazar Lounge Edition is based on the Signature variant and is offered only with the 1.5-litre diesel automatic powertrain. Unlike the standard Alcazar, the Lounge Edition comes with an exclusive five-seat configuration. The exterior receives black-painted skid plates, side-sill garnish, rear spoiler, roof rails and ORVMs, along with 18-inch black alloy wheels. The Golden Bronze exterior colour is also available. The cabin gets the 11.6-inch rear-seat entertainment system, Lounge-specific upholstery and silver inserts, along with Moonwhite ambient lighting. It also gets a voice-enabled smart panoramic sunroof and Lounge-branded rear headrest cushions.

The Creta Electric Lounge Edition is based on the Excellence Long Range variant with the Home Charger option. It gets similar exterior changes, including the Golden Bronze colour, black-painted exterior elements and 17-inch black aero alloy wheels. On the inside it gets a dashcam and rear wireless charger. It also receives the 11.6-inch rear-seat entertainment system, silver inserts, Moonwhite ambient lighting and the Lounge-specific seat design and headrest cushions.
