Hyundai i20 Crosses 15 Lakh Sales Milestone in India

The Indian division of the South Korean automaker Hyundai has today announced that its premium hatchback i20 has achieved a new sales milestone in the country. Sharing this update the automaker revealed that the i20 has crossed the 15 lakh units cumulative sales milestone in India.

The Hyundai i20 is a premium hatchback which was first introduced in India back in 2008 and is currently in its third-generation in the market. Globally the fourth-generation i20 made its debut last month and is also expected to be introduced in the Indian market in late 2026 or early 2027.

Currently Hyundai offers two iterations of this premium hatchback in the domestic market - the i20 and the i20 N Line. The i20 is offered in an ex-showroom price range of Rs 5.99 lakh to Rs 9.17 lakh. The standard i20 is available with a 1.2L 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 86.76bhp and 114.7Nm of torque.

The i20 N Line on the other hand is offered in an ex-showroom price range of Rs 9.27 lakh to Rs 11.73 lakh. The i20 N Line is equipped with a 1.0L 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine producing 118.35bhp and 172Nm of torque.
