Innova Crysta, Hycross Push Toyota India Sales Growth in August 2025

The Indian division of the Japanese automaker Toyota has shared its passenger car sales data for August 2025. The data shared by the company highlights that it has again posted growth in double digits in the Indian market. Toyota is on a gradual path to growth where it has been constantly increasing its sales figures steadily in the domestic market. Last month the company sold over thirty four thousand units of passenger vehicles in the Indian market.

In August 2025 Toyota managed to sell a total of 34,236 units of passenger vehicles (including PVs sold domestically plus exports from India). This sales figure represents an increase in year-on-year total monthly passenger vehicle sales by 3,357 units which further translates into a 10.87 percent growth in year-on-year total monthly passenger vehicle sales. In August 2024 Toyota posted a total passenger vehicle sales of 30,879 units.

In August 2025 Toyota managed to sell 29,302 units of passenger vehicles domestically in the Indian market. This sales figure represents a year-on-year increase in monthly domestic passenger vehicles sales by 713 units which further translates into a 2.40 percent growth in year-on-year monthly domestic passenger vehicle sales. In August 2024 Toyota posted a domestic passenger vehicle sales of 28,589 units.

In August 2025 Toyota exported 4,934 units of passenger vehicles from India. This represents a year-on-year increase in monthly passenger vehicle exports by 2,644 units which further translates into a 115.45 percent year-on-year growth in monthly passenger vehicle exports. In August 2024 Toyota exported 2,290 units of passenger vehicles.
