Mahindra’s upcoming electric SUV, BE 07 has been spied testing in India, revealing its interior for the first time. The test mule of the SUV was spotted with a three-screen setup on the dashboard, including a dedicated display for the front passenger. The BE 07 is expected to debut in India on August 15th 2026 and will sit above the BE 6 in Mahindra’s born-electric range.
The latest spy images provide the first clear indication of how Mahindra plans to carry its newer electric SUV interior design to the BE 07. The dashboard layout is similar to that seen on the XEV 9e and XEV 9S, with three displays positioned next to each other.
Mahindra BE 07 Interior Spied With Three-Screen Setup
The biggest highlight of the BE 07’s cabin is the triple-screen layout. It consists of a digital instrument cluster, a central infotainment screen and a separate display for the front passenger.
Mahindra already offers a similar arrangement on the XEV 9e and XEV 9S. The BE 6 is also expected to receive a three-screen dashboard as part of an upcoming update, the BE 6 Sporteq Edition has already been officially teased with this setup.
The spy images also show a floating centre console, creating additional storage space underneath. The cabin is expected to follow Mahindra’s ‘Electric Origin’ design theme, which is being used across its new generation of born-electric models.
A two-spoke steering wheel with Mahindra’s butterfly logo is also expected. Other visible and expected cabin elements include ambient lighting and a five-seat layout.
There is also a small display visible near the windscreen of the test vehicle. It could be related to the SUV’s camera or dashcam system, although it is not yet clear whether this will be offered on the production model or is specific to the test vehicle.
Mahindra BE 07 Design
The BE 07 will have a different body style compared with the BE 6. While the BE 6 has a coupe-SUV profile, the BE 07 gets a more upright SUV silhouette.
The heavily camouflaged test vehicle reveals a taller body, flush-fitting door handles and large alloy wheels. The rear section appears less tapered than the BE 6, which should allow for more cabin space and potentially a larger boot.
At the rear, the test mule features a roof-mounted spoiler, rear wiper and a large quarter glass. The production model is expected to feature Mahindra’s C-shaped LED lighting signature, although the test vehicle appears to be using temporary rear lamp units.
Mahindra BE 07: Expected Features
Mahindra is expected to equip the BE 07 with a range of technology and convenience features to position it above the BE 6.
Expected equipment could include a panoramic glass roof, ventilated and powered front seats with memory function, dual-zone climate control and ambient lighting. The SUV could also feature wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, connected-car technology and a Harman Kardon audio system.
A head-up display and 360-degree camera are also expected. The BE 07 could get Level 2 ADAS, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance and autonomous emergency braking.
Mahindra BE 07: Expected Battery & Range
The BE 07 will use Mahindra’s INGLO electric vehicle platform, which also underpins the BE 6, XEV 9e and XEV 9S.
The SUV is expected to be offered with 59kWh and 79kWh battery packs. The larger battery could offer a claimed range of more than 600km, although the final figure is expected to depend on the production-spec vehicle.
The BE 07 could also be offered in both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations. The RWD version is expected to prioritise range and efficiency, while the AWD version could use a dual-motor setup.
The BE 07 is larger than the BE 6, so its final range could be lower than the BE 6’s claimed 548km-683km MIDC range, depending on the variant.
Mahindra BE 07: Expected Price & Rivals
The Mahindra BE 07 is expected to make its debut on August 15th 2026. It will be the second model under the BE sub-brand after the BE 6 and will sit higher in Mahindra’s electric SUV line-up.
The BE 07 is expected to be priced from around Rs 26 lakh (ex-showroom), although Mahindra is yet to confirm the final price. Following its launch the BE 07 is expected to rival the likes of Tata Harrier EV, VinFast VF7, BYD Atto 3 and others.
