TVS Orbiter Electric Scooter Gets Expensive by up to Rs 4,000
TVS Motor Company has raised the prices of its Orbiter electric scooter in India, effective for both variants. The Orbiter V1 sees an increase of Rs 3,700, while the V2's price rises by Rs 4,000.

TVS Orbiter Battery & Range
There are no changes to the mechanical package or features of the Orbiter as part of the latest price revision. The electric scooter continues to be available in two variants with different battery capacities.
The Orbiter V1 gets a 1.8kWh battery pack and has a claimed IDC range of 86km on a single charge. The Orbiter V2 uses a 3.1kWh battery pack and offers a claimed IDC range of 158km.
Both versions have a claimed top speed of 68kmph and get Eco and City riding modes.
TVS Orbiter Price Hike: What Has Changed?
The latest revision makes the TVS Orbiter costlier by up to Rs 4,000, depending on the variant. The V1 continues to be positioned below the Rs 1 lakh mark while the V2 is now priced above Rs 1 lakh. The price hike levied as well as the ex-showroom prices of the Orbiter vary by state as different states offer different EV subsidies and tax concessions.
The scooter continues with the same battery options, claimed range, top speed and riding modes. The latest update is limited to the pricing with no cosmetic or mechanical changes; even the features list remains the same.
