Indian automaker Mahindra has today launched the BE 6 Formula E Edition in India priced at Rs 23.69 lakh. This is the second special edition of the electric SUV after the BE 6 Batman Edition which was launched at Rs 27.79 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom).

Customers interested in the Mahindra BE 6 Formula E Edition can add their preference on December 14th 2025, then the bookings for the same will commence from January 14th 2026. Deliveries of the BE 6 Formula E Edition are scheduled to commence from February 14th 2026.

Introducing the BE 6 Formula E Edition, Mahindra revealed that unlike the BE 6 Batman Edition which was initially limited to 300 units then owing to its demand its production was increased to 999 units. The BE 6 Formula E Edition will not be limited but will have a special 999 units with door livery pointing out production numbers of these first units. The production of the BE 6 Formula E Edition will continue post that as well.

Mahindra here has indeed, played smart, enhancing the exclusivity of the first 999 units but at the same time has made this electric SUV accessible to a larger audience.

Apart from this Mahindra is also offering a set of benefits for the first 999 customers including - track day experience at the Mahindra Proving Track, collector’s box with Mahindra Racing memorabilia, choice of special numbers from 0–99 as a side-door decal, customer’s name on the Mahindra racecar for the London E-Prix. On top of all this three lucky customers will receive - Tickets and paddock access for the August 2026 London E-Prix, Meet-and-greet with Mahindra Racing and MADE teams and Special roof decal.

The Mahindra BE 6 Formula E Edition has been introduced in two broad variants - FE 2 and FE 3. The FE 2 variant has been introduced with a price tag of Rs 23.69 lakh. The FE 3 variant on the other hand has been introduced with a price tag of Rs 24.49 lakh.

The Mahindra BE 6 Formula-E Edition carries multiple exterior revisions over the standard BE 6. The model gets new front and rear bumpers, a revised faux skid plate finished in brushed aluminium, and a spoiler integrated into the boot lid. The LED DRLs and tail lamps are smaller units, similar to those seen on lower variants of the EV.

Mahindra has also added a new round headlamp design, updated paint options, sticker elements, hood stripes. It has been introduced in four colour options - Tango Red, Firestorm Orange, Everest White and Stealth Black. Additional exterior details include wheel stripes, an orange tow hook, a Formula-E rear badge, red brake calipers and orange inserts on the running board.

On the inside, the BE 6 Formula-E Edition features a transparent door panel, Formula-E branding, carbon fibre accents on the doors, and new seat motifs. Orange inserts are used on the steering wheel, centre console buttons, and door handles as part of the edition-specific layout.

The BE 6 Formula E Edition is being offered with a 79kWh battery paired with a rear-wheel-drive single motor producing 282 bhp and 380 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.7 seconds and it has a top speed of 202 kmph. It can return a company claimed range of up to 500 km on a single charge in real world conditions and can charge from 20 to 80 percent in just 20 minutes using a 180 kW DC fast charger.

In terms of features the BE 6 Formula E Edition comes equipped with - dual 12.3-inch screens consisting of a digital instrument cluster and digital infotainment system, 20-inch alloy wheels, 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos sound, Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, built-in Amazon Alexa, 5G connectivity, pre-installed OTT, social and shopping applications, connected features via the Me4U app, BYOD rear-seat mounting provisions and much more. On the safety front it gets - 6-airbags, 360 degree camera, blind view monitor, all-wheel disc brakes, TPMS, driver drowsiness detection, brake by wire technology, electronic brake booster, electronic parking brake, front and rear parking sensors and more.
