Maruti Suzuki Crosses 10 Lakh Sales in FY26-27, Registering Over 34 Percent Growth in Car Sales for August 2026

Last month Maruti Suzuki managed to sell a total of 2,10,815 units of passenger vehicles (domestic + exports). This sales figure indicates a rise in year-on-year total monthly passenger vehicle sales by 42,999 units which further translates into 25.62 percent growth in year-on-year total monthly passenger vehicle sales. In August 2025 Maruti Suzuki sold a total of 1,67,816 units of passenger vehicles.

In August 2026 Maruti Suzuki managed to sell 1,76,971 units of passenger vehicles in the Indian domestic market. This sales figure represents a year-on-year increase in monthly domestic passenger vehicles sales by 45,673 units which further translates into 34.80 percent growth in year-on-year monthly domestic passenger vehicle sales. In August 2025 Maruti Suzuki posted a domestic passenger vehicle sales of 1,31,278 units.

Last month Maruti Suzuki exported 33,844 units of passenger vehicles from India. This represents a year-on-year fall in monthly passenger vehicle exports by 2,694 units which further translates into a 7.37 percent decline in year-on-year monthly passenger vehicle exports. In August 2025 Maruti Suzuki exported 36,538 units of passenger vehicles from India.
