JSW MG Motor India has expanded its SUV lineup with the introduction of the 2026 Hector Storm Series. This new range consists of two distinct limited-edition models, the Blackstorm and the Snowstorm, both of which are positioned at an ex-showroom price of Rs 19,99,800. These variants are offered exclusively as five-seater configurations paired with a petrol-automatic powertrain, aiming to provide customers with a more personalised aesthetic while retaining the core features of the existing Hector range.
MG Hector Storm Series: What's New
The Storm Series distinguishes itself through a series of exterior design updates. Both editions feature a redesigned Storm Hex grille, front and rear bumper garnishes, and Aura Storm Blade alloy wheels equipped with red brake calipers. The exterior styling is further enhanced by dark chrome accents applied to the brand logos, skid plates, tailgate trim, and body-side cladding. While the Blackstorm edition leans into a monochromatic dark theme, the Snowstorm edition utilizes a high-contrast approach, pairing a white body finish with piano-black roof rails, LED headlamp bezels, and smoked connected tail lamps.

Inside the cabin, the Storm Series adopts what the manufacturer describes as Nimbus Black interiors. This theme includes black leather upholstery complemented by dark cabin accents and a leather-wrapped steering wheel finished in gunmetal. To further differentiate the models, the front headrests feature specific embossing for either the Blackstorm or Snowstorm editions. The vehicle retains a comprehensive suite of convenience features, including a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, an eight-colour ambient lighting system, an air purifier with a PM2.5 filter, and an automatic powered tailgate.At the heart of the dashboard is a 14-inch portrait HD touchscreen, which now benefits from Smart Boost technology for improved responsiveness. The system supports i-SWIPE gesture controls, allowing users to manage navigation, music, and climate settings through multi-finger gestures. Connectivity is managed via the i-SMART system, which provides access to over 70 connected-car features, including remote operation of vehicle functions and predictive maintenance alerts. Additionally, the vehicle includes a seven-inch digital instrument cluster and a Digital Bluetooth Key with key-sharing capabilities.

Under the hood, the Hector Storm Series is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine that delivers 143 PS and 250 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a CVT gearbox. Safety remains a priority, with the inclusion of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), a 360-degree HD camera with a dedicated Wheel View, and standard safety equipment such as ABS, EBD, Electronic Stability Program, traction control, and Hill Hold Control.MG Hector Blackstorm Edition
As part of the purchase, MG is including a complimentary accessory package that can be fitted at dealerships. This package adds edition-specific badges, fog-lamp surrounds, ORVM protectors with red accents, and side steps. The ownership experience is supported by the MG SHIELD 3+3+3 package, which provides a three-year warranty with unlimited kilometres, three years of roadside assistance, and three labour-free periodic services. Financing options are also available, covering up to 100 percent of the on-road price with tenures extending to 84 months.
