Mini JCW Countryman All4 Launched in India At Rs 64.90 Lakh

British automaker Mini has today launched the John Cooper Works (JCW) Countryman All4 in India with an introductory ex-showroom price tag of Rs 64.90 lakh.

The Mini JCW Countryman All4 is the performance-oriented version of this SUV and its launch in India marks the return of Mini’s combustion-powered flagship, following the launch of the all-electric Countryman earlier this year. The company has stated that the JCW Countryman All4 will be imported as a completely built unit (CBU) and bookings for the same are already underway.

At the heart of the JCW Countryman All4 is a 2.0L, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine which generates about 296 bhp and 400 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch Steptronic sport transmission and Mini’s All4 all-wheel-drive (AWD) setup. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.4 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 250 kmph.

JCW is the performance division of Mini and apart from giving a performance bump to their cars they also carry a distinct styling, marking their cars stand apart. The recently introduced version of the Countryman All4 also gets the JCW treatment with visual cues that set it apart from its standard version. At the front the JCW Countryman All4 gets a redesigned octagonal grille with a chequered finish, flanked by LED headlamps with horizontal lighting elements. There are aerodynamic inserts on the bumper, red highlights across the body and 19-inch JCW Runway Spoke alloys. Its rear design also now features a roof-mounted spoiler, quad-exhaust tips, and blacked-out badging. This car is available in three colour options - British Racing Green, Legend Grey, and Midnight Black with roof and mirror caps finished in either red or black.

On the inside, the newly launched Mini JCW Countryman All4 features black upholstery with red stitching and ambient lighting, a circular 9.4-inch OLED touchscreen running the Mini OS9 interface, integrating media, navigation and vehicle controls. The most notable styling elements in its cabin include - sport seats with electric adjustment, aluminium paddles and a steering wheel finished in JCW trim.

Some key features of the JCW Countryman All4 include a Harman Kardon sound system, panoramic glass roof, wireless charger, head-up display, powered tailgate and automatic climate control.

In terms of safety the JCW Countryman All4 comes equipped with active and passive safety features like Level 2 ADAS, 6-airbags, electronic stability control, hill hold assist, cornering brake control, crash sensors and traction control, 360-degree camera.
