Two JCW Mini Cars To Be Showcased At Goodwood Festival Of Speed
Mini, a subsidiary of BMW, will debut two new John Cooper Works cars at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The event, which started on July 11th, will feature the John Cooper Works E PROtotype and the John Cooper Works PROtotype #317, with the former being driven by John Cooper’s grandson Charlie Cooper. These models pay homage to Mini Cooper S’s racing heritage and will make their official debut later this year. Additionally, Mini is set to introduce the Cooper S and the all-electric Countryman in the Indian market on July 24th.

Two JCW Mini Cars To Be Showcased At Goodwood Festival Of Speed
The Goodwood Festival Of Speed is currently underway and Mini has shared that it will be showcasing two new JCW models at the event. The company has stated that it will be showcasing the all new John Cooper Works E PROtotype and the John Cooper Works PROtotype #317.
Mini also shared that at the event the debutant John Cooper Works E PROtotype will be driven at this event. John Cooper’s grandson Charlie Cooper will be driving this electric Mini at the prestigious hillclimb event.
The other car which will be showcased is the John Cooper Works PROtotype #317, this car also triumphed at the 24 Hours of Nurburgring race this year in its class. The race car was prepped by Bulldog Racing from Nurburg.
Paying homage to Mini Cooper S’s racing heritage the company has draped these two JCW Mini models in a distinct camouflage from the ‘Mini Design Team’. These cars also pay tribute to the Cooper S’s iconic victory at the 1964 Rallye Monte Carlo by featuring the ‘37’ logo on these cars.
The company also revealed that both these models will be making their official premier later this year in autumn.
Mini is also gearing up to introduce two Mini models in the Indian market later this month on July 24th. The company will be introducing the new Cooper S along with the all-electric Countryman in the Indian market this month.
