New Toyota Innova Crysta Launched in India at Rs 19.72 Lakh with Updated Interior and Features

The Indian division of the Japanese automaker, Toyota has today launched the new Innova Crysta in the country with updated cabin and features. The new Toyota Innova Crysta has been launched in India in 7-seat and 8-seat versions with a starting ex-showroom price tag of Rs 19.72 lakh.

The Innova is one of the most popular nameplates in the country and the most popular MPV in segment. The Innova was introduced in India back in 2005 as a replacement for the legendary Qualis and for over two-decades it has dominated the market. The Innova Crysta was introduced as the second-generation model in the country back in 2016. Last month the Innova Crysta completed 10 years in the domestic market. Now the automaker has given this MPV an update to enhance its appeal to keep up with the dynamic market.

Toyota has introduced the new Innova Crysta in four broad trim levels - GX/GX Fleet, GX+, VX and ZX. Apart from ZX all the other variants are available in 7-seat and 8-seat layouts; the ZX is only available as a 7-seater. Here are the detailed variant-wise prices:

In terms of design the 2026 model year Innova Crysta gets changes on the outside as well as the inside. The exterior of the new Innova Crysta gets a revised front grille, new front and rear bumper garnish. Apart from these updates the exterior of this MPV remains unchanged. The new Innova Crysta is available in five colour options - Super White, Silver Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Attitude Black Mica and Avant‑Garde Bronze Metallic.

On the inside Toyota has incorporated more changes with new dual-tone leather seat upholstery, grace copper trims and bezels, revised detailing across rear seat back table, switches and AC controls. On the features front Toyota has added TPMS and wireless charging to the new Innova Crysta.

The 2026 Toyota Innova Crysta continues to retain its existing powertrain and is offered with a 2.4L 4-cylinder turbo-diesel engine producing 147.94bhp and 343Nm of torque. This engine continues to be offered with a 5-speed MT and still misses out on an automatic transmission in this update. It also retains Eco and Power drive modes. Sharing this update Toyota highlighted the major USP of the Innova Crysta, i.e. long distance travels and also claimed that this MPV can return a fuel economy of up to 15kmpl.

On the safety front the new Toyota Innova Crysta comes equipped with 7-airbags, ABS, Hill Start Assist, Vehicle Stability Control, EBD, Brake Assist and more.
