Nissan Magnite Gets 10 Year Extended Warranty: Details
Nissan India has introduced a 10-Year Extended Warranty Plan for the Magnite SUV, making it the first entry-level SUV to offer such coverage. This plan includes a standard 3-year warranty, with options to extend up to 10 years or 2 lakh km. Customers can select various combinations for the extension. The warranty covers mechanical and electrical failures, with cashless repairs at authorized workshops using genuine parts. Only new Magnite units with a 3-year warranty from October 2024 qualify for this plan.

What’s on Offer
This newly introduced extended warranty plan gets standard 3-year warranty along with an option to extend the warranty to a total of up to 10 years or 2 lakh km. Customers can choose from combinations like 3+7, 3+4, 3+3, 3+2, or 3+1 years. Pricing works out to Rs 0.22 per km or Rs 12 per day.
It covers mechanical and electrical failures as per terms, with specific engine and transmission protection for the 8th, 9th, and 10th years. Under this scheme repairs will be cashless at any Nissan-authorised workshop, with no limit on claim numbers or value. All work will use genuine Nissan parts. This plan can also be financed via Nissan Finance.
Who Can Get It
Only privately owned New Nissan Magnite units with a 3-year standard warranty, sold from October 2024 onwards, are eligible for this scheme. Older Magnite models with a 2-year standard warranty are excluded. The plan can be purchased anytime before the standard warranty ends, provided no earlier extended warranty has been taken. Coverage starts immediately after the OEM warranty expires. The 10-Year Extended Warranty is available only via authorised Nissan dealerships.
