Range Rover SV Gets Four New Duo-Tone Colour Combinations: Details Explained

Range Rover is giving its most expensive and performance-focused SUV an even more exclusive look. The brand has introduced a new duo-tone fade personalisation option for the Range Rover SV, replacing the sharp divide of a traditional two-tone paint job with a gradual blend between two colours.
Key Highlights:
  • New duo-tone fade finish introduced under Range Rover’s Bespoke programme
  • Available exclusively on the range-topping Range Rover SV
  • Four curated colour combinations offered with matching interiors
  • SV available with a 537bhp V8 or an electric powertrain with up to 600km range
The new finish starts at the roof and bonnet before gradually flowing down the sides and towards the rear of the SUV. Instead of a clear line separating two shades, the colours smoothly merge into each other. Customers can choose from four pre-selected combinations. All of them use an Obsidian base colour, paired with one of four upper shades - Velvet Depths, Sunstone Lustre, Ashen Amaranthine and Nacre Allure.
Range Rover is also offering matching duo-tone interior themes with each exterior combination, allowing buyers to create a more coordinated cabin.
The duo-tone fade is not simply a standard factory paint option. Range Rover says the process involves applying the base colour first, followed by the second shade. The transition between the two colours is then blended by hand.
This approach is designed to give each Bespoke commission a more distinctive finish. However, Range Rover has not announced a fixed price for the option. Bespoke commissions are generally priced individually depending on the customer's requirements.

Range Rover SV: Powertrain Options

The Range Rover SV continues to sit at the top of the flagship SUV's range. It is offered with a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 mild-hybrid petrol engine that produces 537bhp and 750Nm. An all-electric version is also available, with Range Rover claiming a driving range of up to 600km.
The SV is currently the only Range Rover variant eligible for the Bespoke personalisation programme, making the new duo-tone fade finish exclusive to the flagship model.
