Skoda Kushaq Facelift Launched in India: Price, Engine, Safety, Features and More

Czech automaker Skoda has launched the Kushaq facelift in India in an ex-showroom price range of 10.69 lakh to Rs 18.99 lakh. This is the first major update for the SUV since its launch back in 2021. In this update Skoda has revised the design, feature list and transmission options for the Kushaq while retaining its engine line-up. The Kushaq facelift continues to compete in the compact SUV segment in India going up against the likes of Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Victoris, Honda Elevate, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and others.

The facelifted Skoda Kushaq gets revised front design, including a wider grille with chrome inserts and an illuminated light bar on select variants. The LED headlamps are now slimmer and incorporate revised LED DRLs. The front bumper has also been updated with integrated fog lamps and parking sensors.

On the side the changes are limited to new alloy wheel designs, offered in 16-inch and 17-inch sizes.

At the rear, the Kushaq facelift gets connected LED tail lamps with sequential turn indicators, illuminated ‘Skoda’ lettering and a revised bumper.

Inside the cabin the interior layout of the Kushaq facelift remains familiar, but it gets new trim finishes and upholstery options. Notable updates on the inside include - a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and an updated 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless connectivity and voice assistant support, panoramic sunroof, ventilated and power-adjustable front seats, wireless charging, ambient lighting, 6-speaker sound system with subwoofer, rear seat massage function and more.

The Skoda Kushaq facelift continues to be powered by the 1.0L TSI and 1.5L TSI turbocharged-petrol engine options. The 1.0L 3-cylinder turbo-petrol TSI unit produces 113.42bhp and 178Nm of torque. This engine is available with a 6-speed manual transmission and the new 8-speed automatic transmission (AT). The 8-speed AT replaces the 6-speed AT in the lineup.

The second engine on offer is the more powerful 1.5L 4-cyl TSI turbo petrol engine which produces 147.94bhp and 250Nm of torque. This engine is available only with a 7-speed DSG. The 1.5L TSI trims of the Kushaq facelift now come equipped with front and rear disc brakes.

In terms of safety the Kushaq facelift comes equipped with 6-airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), traction control, hill-hold assist, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), rear parking camera, front and rear parking sensors, auto-dimming IRVM and more. However the Kushaq facelift misses out on safety features like ADAS and 360-degree camera.

Skoda is offering the Kushaq facelift in the Indian market in five variants - Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige and Monte Carlo. The Monte Carlo trim continues with blacked-out styling elements. Here is a detailed variant-wise price list of the 2026 Skoda Kushaq facelift:
