Skoda Octavia RS: 50 Units Batch Arrives at Rs 56.69 Lakh

Skoda Octavia RS has returned to India with a second batch of 50 units. The Octavia RS is the performance version of the sedan and is priced at Rs 56.69 lakh (ex-showroom). The second batch of the Octavia RS costs Rs 6.70 lakh more than the first batch launched in 2025.

The first batch of the Octavia RS was limited to 100 units and carried a price tag of Rs 49.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Skoda says all 100 units were sold before the car officially went on sale in India. The second batch has been restricted to 50 units. Bookings for the same are now open and deliveries are scheduled to commence from next week.

The Skoda Octavia RS is being offered with a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder TSI turbo-petrol engine that produces 265bhp and 370Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 7-speed DSG. The Octavia RS can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in a claimed time of 6.4 seconds and has a claimed top speed of 250 kmph. The Octavia RS also gets sports suspension, progressive steering, a revised chassis setup and a sports exhaust.

The Octavia RS gets a number of changes that distinguish it from the standard version. These include full-LED Matrix headlights, LED tail-lamps with dynamic indicators and gloss-black exterior elements. The Octavia RS sports 19-inch alloy wheels with 225/40 R19 tyres. The second batch of the Octavia RS has been introduced in three colour options: Mamba Green, Velvet Red and Magic Black.

On the inside, the Octavia RS gets sports seats finished in Suedia upholstery with red contrast stitching. The front seats feature electric adjustment, memory, heating and massage functions.

Key features of the Octavia RS include a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a Virtual Cockpit, three-zone climate control, wireless charging, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a Canton audio system, head-up display and more.

The Skoda Octavia RS gets safety equipment like 10-airbags, 360-degree camera, stability control, traction control, ADAS with Adaptive Cruise Control, Autonomous Emergency Braking and Lane Assist. The Octavia RS also gets Intelligent Park Assist.
