Skoda Slavia Facelift India Launch Confirmed for October 6

Skoda Auto Volkswagen India is all set to launch the Slavia facelift in the country on October 6th 2026. The Slavia facelift was unveiled in India last month and the production for the same commenced yesterday at the Skoda Auto Volkswagen India's Chakan facility in Pune, Maharashtra.

The Skoda Slavia facelift debuted in India in August 2026 with notable design, features and hardware updates. The Slavia facelift retains the two TSI engine options and continues to get the 1.0L 3-cyl TSI and the 1.5L 4-cyl TSI. However, there is a change to the transmission options with the 1.0L TSI which now gets a new 8-speed AT instead of the 6-speed AT offered in the outgoing model. Apart from the new transmission options there is no other change to the powertrain of the Slavia, the power output also remains the same.

The Slavia facelift gets additional features like 360-degree surround view camera, massage function for rear seats, updated 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with AI, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, front parking sensors and more,

The Slavia facelift also gets an updated design with revised LED headlamps and tail lights, sequential rear indicators, new 16-inch alloy wheel design and more. The car gets two new colour options - Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige. The Monte Carlo trim of the Slavia facelift gets blacked out styling with red accents.

Skoda will offer the Slavia facelift in 6 variants - Classic, Classic Plus, Signature, Sportline, Prestige and Monte Carlo.

Skoda is expected to introduce the Slavia facelift with a starting ex-showroom price tag of Rs 9.49 lakh. Skoda has shared that it has sold 80,000 units of the Slavia till date in India and that the sedan holds 30 percent of the market share in its segment. Following its launch the Skoda Slavia facelift will compete with the likes of Volkswagen Virtus, Hyundai Verna and Honda City in the domestic market.
