Kia Carens CNG: Powertrain
Both the Carens CNG and Carens Clavis CNG use the Smartstream G1.5 engine with a 6-speed manual transmission. In CNG mode, the engine develops 96PS and 123 Nm of torque.
Kia Carens CNG: Features
The factory-fitted CNG variants come with a CNG fuel change switch and a 4.2-inch colour TFT MID with CNG-specific Distance to Empty (DTE) information. Other changes include a modified third-row seat-back frame. Kia says the revised third-row frame provides an increased recline angle for passengers. One of the key aspects of the CNG installation is that Kia has retained the spare tyre despite integrating the CNG kit into the vehicles.
