Tata Motors Monthly Car Sales Grow by Over 34 Percent in February 2026

Tata Motors has released its passenger vehicle sales data for February 2026. The data shared by the automaker outlines that Tata Motors sold over sixty-three thousand units of passenger vehicles last month. Tata Motors has recently introduced the facelifted version of its popular SUV, Punch, in ICE and EV versions, which could become a major driving factor for sales in the coming months.

In February 2026 Tata Motors managed to sell a total of 62,221 units of passenger vehicles (including PVs sold domestically plus exports from India). This sales figure represents an increase in year-on-year total monthly passenger vehicle sales by 16,520 units which further translates into 35.29 percent growth in year-on-year total monthly passenger vehicle sales. In February 2025 Tata Motors posted a total passenger vehicle sales of 46,811 units.

Last month Tata Motors sold 62,329 units of passenger vehicles domestically in the Indian market. This sales figure represents a year-on-year rise in monthly domestic passenger vehicles sales by 15,894 units which further translates into 34.22 percent growth in year-on-year monthly domestic passenger vehicle sales. In February 2025 Tata Motors posted a domestic passenger vehicle sales of 46,435 units.

In February 2026 Tata Motors managed to sell 8,385 units of electric passenger vehicles (including PVs sold domestically plus exports from India). This sales figure represents a year-on-year rise in electric passenger vehicles sales by 3,042 units which further translates into 56.93 percent growth in year-on-year electric passenger vehicle sales. In February 2025 Tata Motors had posted total electric vehicle sales of 5,343 units.

Last month Tata Motors exported 1,002 units of passenger vehicles from India. This represents an year-on-year increase in monthly passenger vehicle exports by 626 units which further translates into 166.48 percent year-on-year growth in monthly passenger vehicle exports. In February 2025 Tata Motors exported 376 units of passenger vehicles.
