Volvo EX30 Electric SUV Launched in India at Rs 41 Lakh

The Indian division of the Swedish automaker Volvo has announced the prices for the EX30, electric SUV. The EX30 has been introduced in India with an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 41 lakh. Sharing this update the company also revealed that customers looking to pre-reserve this EV before October 19th 2025, can avail a limited-time price of Rs 39,99,000 (ex-showroom). Deliveries for the same are scheduled to begin in the first week of November.

The EX30 Single Motor - Extended Range variant comes with a 69 kWh lithium-ion battery. The motor produces 268.27 bhp and 343 Nm of torque. The vehicle has a WLTP-certified range of 480 km, can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.3 seconds and it has a top speed of 180 kmph. Power is sent to the rear wheels through an automatic gearbox.

Safety equipment on the EX30 includes Safe Space Technology with 5 cameras, 5 radars, and 12 ultrasonic sensors. The SUV is equipped with auto emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, intersection auto-brake, lane keeping aid, blind spot information system, adaptive cruise control, park pilot assist with 360° camera, rear cross traffic alert with auto-brake, oncoming lane mitigation, post impact braking, and multiple airbags. The model has secured a five-star Euro NCAP rating.

The cabin features a fixed panoramic sunroof, two-zone electronic climate control with air quality sensor, power adjustable front seats with lumbar support, 40/60 split folding rear seats, 318 litres of rear luggage space, and 7 litres of front storage. Infotainment and connectivity are provided through a 12.3-inch touchscreen with Google Built-in, Apple CarPlay, 5G connectivity, and over-the-air updates. Other features include Harman Kardon 1040W nine-speaker sound system, wireless phone charging, ambient lighting with five themes, and digital key functionality with NFC card access. The model will be offered in five colour options. Standard equipment includes LED headlamps with active high beam, 19-inch 5-spoke aero wheels with summer tyres, and a power-operated tailgate.

The EX30 is the third battery electric vehicle to be locally assembled at Volvo’s Hosakote plant near Bengaluru. Each unit is supplied with an 11 kW wall box charger. The company is offering a three-year comprehensive warranty, three-year service package, roadside assistance, an eight-year battery warranty, and a five-year subscription to its connected services package.
