2025 Aprilia SR 175 launched In India, replaces SR 160: Price, Power, Features and more
Aprilia has launched the SR 175 scooter in India, replacing the SR 160 with a starting price between Rs 1.26 to 1.33 lakh. The new model maintains the sporty aesthetics of its predecessor while featuring a more powerful 174.7cc engine that produces 13.08 bhp and 14.14 Nm of torque. Notable enhancements include a 5.5-inch color TFT display with Bluetooth, LED lights, and USB charging. The scooter is equipped with 14-inch alloy wheels, telescopic front forks, and single-channel ABS, marking it as Aprilia's flagship offering.

Aprilia has today introduced the new SR 175 scooter in India. The company has introduced the SR 175 in the Indian market as a replacement for the SR 160 scooter in its product lineup. Aprilia has launched the SR 175 scooter with a starting ex-showroom price range of Rs 1.26 to 1.33 lakh (ex-showroom).
What’s New
The Aprilia SR 175 retains the same design as the SR 160 and continues with the familiar sporty styling and graphics. It is being offered in two colour options - Matte Prismatic Dark and Glossy Tech White.
Powertrain
As the name suggests the SR 175 comes with a major change under the bodywork. It comes with a bigger engine, it is powered by a 174.7cc, single-cylinder engine which churns out 13.08 bhp and 14.14 Nm of torque. This is an increase of nearly 2bhp and 0.7Nm in comparison to the SR 160. This engine is mated to a CVT gearbox.
Features
Aprilia has equipped the SR 175 with a new 5.5-inch colour TFT display, replacing the older LCD unit. This display is similar to the one on the Aprilia 457 twins, and comes with Bluetooth connectivity. Other features include LED illumination and a USB charging port.
Suspension & Braking
The Aprilia SR 175 comes with 14-inch alloy wheels, telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock. The braking duties are carried out by a 220mm disc at the front and a drum at the rear. It also gets a single-channel ABS.
Availability
The SR 175 is now available across authorised Aprilia dealerships across the country and it takes over as the flagship scooter in the brand’s Indian lineup.
