Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG Bike Prices Reduced By Up To Rs 10,000: Check New Price List

Bajaj Auto has silently reduced the prices of its Freedom 125 CNG bike by up to Rs 10,000. Launched in July this year, the Bajaj Freedom 125 is available in three variants, namely Drum, Drum LED and Disc LED. The price cut is limited to the Drum and Drum LED variants, with the former now priced Rs 5,000 lower while the mid-level variant is now Rs 10,000 more affordable.

No changes have been made to the CNG motorcycle owing to the price cut whatsoever. Powering the bike is a 125cc, air-cooled, single cylinder engine that produces 9.5 bhp of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 9.7 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox. The motorcycle gets a 2-litre fuel tank, along with a 2 kg CNG cylinder. The rider can switch between CNG and petrol modes with the flick of a switch.

The Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG is the first and currently the only CNG bike in India. The price cut should make it an even more lucrative offer for buyers looking for a commuter motorcycle with a budget of around Rs 1 lakh in mind. The homegrown manufacturer claims that the top-end variant accounts for 72% of the CNG motorcycle's sales, whilee the entry-level variant claims just 13% of the total sales.
