Hero MotoCorp Expands In Sri Lanka with New Scooter And Motorcycle Line-Up

Hero MotoCorp, in partnership with distributor Abans Auto, introduced a new range of two-wheelers in Sri Lanka. The line-up includes one scooter and three motorcycles: Xoom 110, Hunk 160R 4V, Xtreme 125R and HF Deluxe.

The Xoom 110 enters the Sri Lankan market as a 110cc scooter, intended for short-distance daily travel. It is the only model currently available in the 110cc scooter segment in the country.

This motorcycle is positioned in the 160cc segment and is equipped with ABS. It is designed for street use and includes a single-channel ABS system for braking.

Targeted at the 125cc segment, this motorcycle is part of Hero's commuter range and is set to compete with other mid-size bikes in the market.

The HF Deluxe is a basic commuter motorcycle now available in an all-black version. It is designed for everyday use and fuel efficiency.

Hero MotoCorp has been operating in Sri Lanka through Abans Auto since 2012. As part of its expansion strategy, the company plans to increase its network to over 500 customer touchpoints by May 2025.

Pre-bookings for the Hunk 160R 4V and Xtreme 125R are expected to open soon.
