In June 2025, India's two-wheeler market showed positive growth, with major manufacturers reporting increases in both domestic and export sales. Hero MotoCorp led the market, dispatching over 553,000 units, marking a 10.03% year-on-year increase. Honda followed with 429,147 units sold, while TVS experienced a 20% growth with nearly 386,000 units sold. Conversely, Bajaj Auto saw a slight decline in total sales, although exports grew. Suzuki also reported an 8% increase in sales, with significant export growth.

India’s two-wheeler market continued to show signs of recovery in June 2025, with most major manufacturers reporting year-on-year growth in both domestic and export segments. Hero MotoCorp maintained its lead, followed by strong performances from Honda, TVS, Bajaj and Suzuki.

Hero MotoCorp remained the country’s top two-wheeler manufacturer in June 2025 with a total of 553,963 units dispatched in June 2025 reflecting a Year-on-Year growth of 10.03% when compared to 503,448 units dispatched in June 2024. In June 2025, the company dispatched 512,658 motorcycles showing a Y-o-Y increase of 8.3% when compared to 473,228 units dispatched in June 2024 and 41,305 scooters in June 2025 reflecting a Y-o-Y growth of 36% when compared to 30,220 scooters dispatched in June 2024.

Honda reported total sales for June 2025 stood at 429,147 units comprising 388,812 units sold in the domestic market and 40,335 units exported. While the company did not provide a direct year-on-year comparison for the month, its cumulative sales for the fiscal year-to-date (April to June 2025) stood at 1,375,120 units, with domestic sales of 1,228,961 units and exports of 146,159 units.

TVS registered total two-wheeler sales of 385,698 units in June 2025, reflecting a Y-o-Y growth of 20% when compared to 322,168 units sold in June 2024. Domestic sales stood at 2,81,012 units in June 2025 reflecting a Y-o-Y growth of 10% when compared to 2,55,734 units sold domestically in June 2024. TVS export figures for June 2025 stood at 1,04,686 units in June 2025 showing a Y-o-Y growth of 58% when compared to 66,434 units exported in June 2024.

Bajaj Auto’s total two-wheeler sales declined slightly by 2% in June 2025, recording 298,484 units compared to 303,646 units in June 2024. Domestic sales dropped by 16% to 149,317 units from 177,207 units last year. On the other hand, exports saw an 18% rise, increasing from 126,439 units in June 2024 to 149,167 units this year.

Suzuki Motorcycle India reported total sales of 95,244 units in June 2025, up 8% from 88,287 units in June 2024. Domestic sales accounted for 73,934 units, reflecting a 4% increase year-on-year, while exports rose sharply by 24%, reaching 21,310 units compared to 17,201 units in June 2024.
