Triumph Launches Limited-Run Speed Triple 1200 RX With Performance Upgrades: Check Details

The Speed Triple 1200 RX introduces a more aggressive riding posture compared to the 2025 Speed Triple RS. It includes lower clip-on handlebars and revised footpeg positions for a more forward-leaning stance. The seat has also been modified to support better rider movement.

The Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX is powered by a 1160cc Liquid-cooled, 12-valve, inline 3-cylinder engine that churns out 180.5 bhp at 10,750rpm and 128Nm of torque at 8,750rpm. These figures represent a small increase in power and torque over the previous generation. The engine carries over developments from Triumph’s Moto2 program, including a revised balancing strategy for better smoothness. The motorcycle weighs 199kg (wet) and has a fuel tank capacity of 15.5 litres.

Suspension duty for the Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX is handled by Ohlins semi-active SmartEC3 system. A new Öhlins SD EC steering damper is also included and controlled via the onboard interface. Braking is managed by Brembo Stylema calipers with adjustable levers, and the motorcycle is equipped with Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V3 tyres.

The Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX comes with a titanium Akrapovic silencer, designed to reduce weight and centralise mass. Electronic updates include configurable wheel lift control, engine braking control and brake slide assist, with different levels of adjustment. The bike also features five riding modes (Rain, Road, Sport, Track, Rider), cornering ABS and traction control and a bidirectional quickshifter.

A 5-inch TFT display provides access to settings and ride data. The My Triumph connectivity system enables navigation and smartphone integration. Other features include cruise control, emergency brake warning and keyless operation for ignition, fuel cap and steering lock.
