2025 Jeep Compass SUV Teased Ahead Of Global Debut In Spring

The information shared by the company outlines that the new-gen Compass is built on the Stellantis STLA Medium platform. The new Compass is set to receive significant design changes, more powertrain options and it will also be bigger in terms of dimensions.

2025 Jeep Compass: Design

The latest teasers of the new-gen Compass reveal a bold and modern look for the upcoming Compass. At the front it retains the company’s signature seven-slat grille which now features illumination and is paired with rectangular bi-LED projector headlamps. The bonnet also seems to have been redesigned to give the SUV a more aggressive and muscular stance.

Moving to the side, the blacked-out D-pillar creates a floating roof effect, enhancing the vehicle's visual appeal. It retains the squared wheel arches which can now house larger wheels, giving the Compass a more rugged presence. At the rear, the SUV sports redesigned C-shaped LED tail lamps, seamlessly integrating the ‘Jeep; logo; it also gets an updated rear bumper.

Teasing the 2025 Jeep Compass the company has shared that the new-generation Compass is based on the Stellantis STLA Medium platform, which allows it to support multiple powertrain options. The company has officially confirmed that the 2025 Compass will be introduced in mild-hybrid, plug-in hybrid and all-electric versions to cater to the growing demand for electrified vehicles and moving towards sustainability.

The company has also confirmed that some variants of the 2025 Compass will come with an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system, enhancing its off-road capabilities. However the company has not revealed more details regarding the same.

Set to debut in the spring of 2025 the production of the next-generation Compass will commence in 2025 at Stellantis’ Melfi plant in Italy. Its global debut in Europe will be followed by its introduction in North America and other international markets by 2026. Teaser images from the assembly line also indicate that pre-production models are already being built.

When Is The Next-Gen 2025 Jeep Compass Coming To India?

While the global market will receive the new-generation Compass, Stellantis has decided not to introduce it in India. Some media reports published last year suggested that the STLA Medium platform did not meet commercial viability for the Indian market, and with the current Compass generating limited sales figures. Hence the chances of the next-gen Compass making it to the Indian shores currently look grim.
