265 Bhp 2025 Skoda Octavia RS & Kodiaq RS Unveiled: Check Details

Czech automaker Skoda has today taken the wraps off the 2025 model year Octavia RS and Kodiaq RS performance models. The company has a commendable presence in motorsports and the company uses this experience to enhance its performance models under the RS range.

Sharing this update the company shared that these are the most powerful production iterations of these models till date. RS in the nomenclature is an abbreviation for Rally Sport which has a 50 year old lineage. Skoda first introduced the RS badge Octavia in the Indian market in mid-2000’s and since then we have had the Laura RS, Octavia RS 230 and Octavia RS 245 in the Indian market. Earlier this year at the 2025 Indian Auto Expo the company had showcased the ongoing version of the Octavia RS at the event. Since then automotive enthusiasts have been raging on social media anticipating the arrival of the new Octavia RS in the domestic market. With the 2025 model year Octavia breaking cover globally we can anticipate this newer version to hit the Indian shores sometime later this year or in early 2026.

The 2025 model year Octavia RS and Kodiaq RS have been introduced with the 2.0L TSI turbo petrol engine which now generates a peak power output of 265 bhp. They also feature LED matrix beam headlights, LED tail lights with annotated turn signals, gloss black body trims, redesigned front and rear bumpers, redesigned exhaust tip, variable-ratio progressive steering, virtual cockpit, sporty black interiors with contrasting red stitching. The Octavia RS gets 19-inch alloy wheels along with lowered sports suspension and Kodiaq RS gets 20-inch alloy wheels; both these cars sport red brake callipers.
