Hyundai Motor India Launches Verna With Rear Spoiler And Amazon Grey Colour

Hyundai Motor India introduced a new rear spoiler and an Amazon Grey monotone colour to its Hyundai Verna. With a 5-star Global NCAP safety rating, the Hyundai Verna offers 33 safety features as standard including 6 airbags, 3-point seatbelts, electronic stability control (ESC), vehicle stability management (VSM) and Hill-assist control (HAC) and Isofix across all trims.

Additionally, with Hyundai Smart Sense – Level 2 advanced driver assistance technology (ADAS) technology, the sedan uses automated sensing technology with radars (front and rear), sensors and a camera (front) to detect obstacles on the road and initiate corrective action and warnings.

Hyundai Verna’s cabin boasts features including integrated infotainment and digital cluster, front ventilated and heated seats, 64-colour ambient lighting and Bose Premium Sound system, among others. Moreover, the South Korean automaker has introduced a new Amazon Grey colour for the Hyundai Verna.

The Hyundai Verna is powered by two engine options: a 1.5 L MPi engine and a 1.5 L TGDi. The 1.5 L MPi petrol engine produces 113.43 bhp and 143.8 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, whereas the 1.5 L TGDi petrol engine produces 157.81 bhp and 253 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission with an option of automatic transmission available. The Verna’s price starts from Rs 11 lakh and goes up to Rs 17.47 lakh. Both the prices mentioned are ex-showroom. The Hyundai Verna rivals the Volkswagen Virtus, Skoda Slavia, Honda City, and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz.
