Kia India Rides High On Success Of Sonet, Syros, Seltos To Post Over 18 Growth In Car Sales For April 2025

The Indian division of South Korean automaker Kia has shared its sales results for last month outlining that the company has posted a positive growth in monthly car sales in the Indian market. The company shared that it has managed to sell over twenty three thousand units of passenger vehicles in the domestic market in April 2025.

In April 2025 Kia India managed to sell 23,623 units of passenger vehicles in the Indian market. This indicates a rise in monthly car sales by 3,655 units. This sales figure represents a growth in monthly car sales for Kia in the Indian market by 18.30 percent. In April 2024 Kia had sold 19.968 units of passenger vehicles in the domestic market.

Sharing sales data for April 2025 Kia offered a sales insight offering a deeper breakup of the monthly sales performance of its products in the Indian market. The data shared by company highlights that it sold 8,068 units of Sonet, 6,135 units of Seltos, 5,259 units of Carens, 4,000 units of Syros and 161 units of Carnival in the Indian market last month.

Commenting on the company’s sales performance for April 2025, Hardeep Singh Brar, Sr. VP and Head of Sales and Marketing said, “We are pleased by the strong start to CY’25, underscored by the enduring success of the Sonet and the positive market response for the new Syros. This performance reaffirms the growing trust our customers place in Kia’s product excellence and brand promise. Kia India has shared that it is gearing up to launch the next-generation of the Carens MPV in the Indian market rebranded as ‘Clavis’ on May 8th 2025.
