Lamborghini has confirmed that the Temerario, the successor to the Huracan, will be launched in India on April 30, 2025. This comes earlier than earlier estimates, which expected the India debut towards the end of 2025. The Temerario was first revealed globally in August 2024.
Lamborghini Temerario: Powertrain and Performance
The Lamborghini Temerario is powered by a 4.0L V8 twin-turbo petrol engine which works in tandem with three electric motors. This hybrid powertrain puts out a combined power output of 907.04 bhp and and 730 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 2.7 seconds and it has a top speed of over 340 kmph.
The hybrid system in the Temerario consists of a central electric motor positioned between the V8 engine and the 8-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT), alongside two motors powering the front wheels. This arrangement facilitates an adaptable all-wheel-drive system (AWD), which offers better traction and handling in various driving conditions.
Lamborghini Temerario: Battery and Charging
The hybrid system is supported by a 3.8kWh battery. Charging can be done in 30 minutes using a 7kW AC charger. The battery can also be charged through regenerative braking or directly from the engine.
Lamborghini Temerario: Exterior Highlights
Design elements from earlier Lamborghini models continue in the Temerario, including a shark-nose front and hexagonal tail-light design. New additions include sharper roof and side panel lines. The car gets 20-inch wheels at the front and 21-inch wheels at the rear, with forged and carbon-fibre wheel options available.
Lamborghini Temerario: Interior and Technology
On the inside, the Lamborghini Temerario shares layout similarities with the Lamborghini Revuelto. It features a fighter jet-style push-start button and physical controls on the steering wheel. The dashboard includes three displays: a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 8.4-inch central infotainment touchscreen along with a 9.1-inch passenger display. The driver's seat comes with heating, ventilation and 18-way adjustment.
