Mahindra Registers Over 18 Percent Growth In Sales For December 2024

Indian automaker Mahindra has been slowly but steadily moving up the monthly passenger vehicle sales chart in India. Over the course of the last few years Mahindra has established its dominance in the market with the success of SUVs like Thar, XUV700, Scorpio N, Thar Roxx and more. Now the company has come forward and shared its sales data for December 2024 which revealed that the company managed to sell over forty one thousand units of passenger vehicles in the Indian market last month.

In December 2024 Mahindra managed to sell a total of 42,958 units of passenger vehicles (including PVs sold domestically plus exports from India). This sales figure represents a growth in year-on-year total monthly passenger vehicle sales by 6,609 units which further translates into 18.18 percent increase in year-on-year total monthly passenger vehicle sales. In December 2023 Mahindra posted a total passenger vehicle sales of 36,349 units.

Last month Mahindra managed to sell 41,424 units of passenger vehicles domestically in the Indian market. This sales figure represents a year-on-year growth in monthly domestic passenger vehicles sales by 6,253 units which further translates into 17.17 percent increase in year-on-year monthly domestic passenger vehicle sales. In December 2023 Mahindra posted a domestic passenger vehicle sales of 35,171 units.

Last month Mahindra exported 1,534 units of passenger vehicles from India. This represents a year-on-year increase in monthly passenger vehicle exports by 356 units which further translates into a 30.22 percent year-on-year growth in monthly passenger vehicle exports. In December 2023 Mahindra exported 1,178 units of passenger vehicles.
