Mahindra XUV 3XO New Variant Teased Ahead of Upcoming India Launch
Mahindra is set to unveil an updated variant of its sub-compact SUV, the XUV 3XO, shortly after its initial launch. This new version will feature a sportier design with cosmetic enhancements like a body-colored front grille, black alloys, and a dual-tone color scheme. While the exterior modifications aim to give it a refreshed look, the fundamental mechanics and engine options will remain unchanged, including three existing engines. Additionally, the update will incorporate advanced features such as a 10-inch infotainment system and Level 2 ADAS capabilities.

Indian automaker, Mahindra has teased an update for its sub-compact SUV, the XUV 3XO. While it has not been long since its launch, the company has decided to add new variants to its sub-compact SUV’s lineup.
The new variant of the Mahindra XUV 3XO is expected to be a sportier iteration of the current XUV 3XO model with cosmetic changes including body-coloured front grille, black alloys, a dual-tone body colour with black roof, variant badging on the front quarter panel and on the C-pillar and panoramic sunroof, among others.
Despite sporting a new look, the fundamentals of the sub-compact SUV remain the same, which indicates that it is a sporty mild update to the existing SUV rather than a complete generation change. Furthermore, the XUV 3XO will remain the same mechanically, boasting the same three engine options.
Mahindra XUV 3XO New Variant: Engine Options
The Mahindra XUV 3XO is offered with three engine options – a 1.2L turbo petrol producing 108.49 bhp and 200 Nm of torque, a 1.5L diesel engine producing 115.39 bhp and 300 Nm of torque and a 1.2L turbo petrol engine producing 128.22 bhp and 230 Nm of torque. The transmission on offer is the six-speed torque converter automatic transmission and six-speed manual transmission. The new update is expected to be equipped with the same three engine options.
Mahindra XUV 3XO New Variant: Features
The feature list of the new variant of the XUV 3XO are expected to include wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, a 10-inch digital infotainment system, black ORVMs, dual-zone climate control, ADRENOX connectivity, cruise control, Level 2 ADAS features and steering mounted controls, among others.
