Maruti Suzuki February 2025 Sales: Small Cars Outsell SUVs & MPVs, Ciaz Bounces Back

Maruti Suzuki is the biggest carmaker in the Indian automotive market for the past several decades and it is continuing with its dominance in the domestic market. Now the company has come out and has shared its monthly passenger vehicles sales data for last month which depicts that the company has posted a small but significant growth in the country. However the company’s overall sales has witnessed a decline owing to the fall in exports.

In February 2025 Maruti Suzuki managed to sell a total of 1,85,812 units of passenger vehicles (including PVs sold domestically plus exports from India). This sales figure represents a decline in year-on-year total monthly passenger vehicle sales by 3,386 units which further translates into a 1.79 percent decline in year-on-year total monthly passenger vehicle sales. In February 2025 Maruti Suzuki posted a total passenger vehicle sales of 1,89,198 units.

In February 2025 Maruti Suzuki managed to sell 1,60,791 units of passenger vehicles in the Indian domestic market. This sales figure represents a year-on-year increase in monthly domestic passenger vehicles sales by 520 units which further translates into a 0.32 percent growth in year-on-year monthly domestic passenger vehicle sales. In February 2025 Maruti Suzuki posted a domestic passenger vehicle sales of 1,60,271 units.

In February 2025 Maruti Suzuki exported 25,021 units of passenger vehicles from India. This represents a year-on-year fall in monthly passenger vehicle exports by 3,902 units which further translates into a 13.50 percent year-on-year growth in monthly passenger vehicle exports. In February 2025 Maruti Suzuki exported 28,927 units of passenger vehicles.
