Maruti Suzuki Fronx Crosses 1 Lakh Export Milestone In Just 25 Months
Maruti Suzuki, India’s leading car manufacturer, has announced that its SUV, the Fronx, has achieved over 100,000 unit exports within 25 months of its launch in April 2023. The vehicle is produced at the company’s Gujarat facility and is part of Maruti's broader strategy to boost exports, aligning with the Indian government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative. In the current fiscal year, the automaker exported over 96,000 vehicles, holding a 47% share in total passenger vehicle exports and maintaining a strong international presence.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx Exports
Maruti Suzuki first launched the Fronx in the domestic market back in April 2023 and exports for the same commenced in the same year. Now the company has come out and shared that the Fronx has crossed the 1 lakh units export milestone in just about 25 months. The Fronx is manufactured in the Maruti Suzuki’s Gujarat facility.
Maruti Suzuki has been leading the car sales charts in India for several decades and it is also leading in car exports. The company has truly taken forward the Indian government’s vision of ‘Make in India, Make for the World’. The automaker has been pioneering car exports to the Middle East, Latin America, Africa, Japan and other major markets.
Maruti Suzuki India Exports
Leading the car exports from India Maruti Suzuki shared that in the first quarter of current fiscal year, it has exported over 96,000 vehicles. According to the company its share in total passenger vehicle exports is about 47 percent. The company currently exports 17 models to about 100 countries from India. In the last financial year the company exported over 3.3 lakh vehicles from India, with Fronx, Baleno, Jimny, Dzire and Swift leading the top charts for the company in terms of export.
