Porsche 911 Series GT Models To Make Global Debut On October 18: 911 GT3 Incoming?

Porsche introduced its iconic 911 sports car as a performance model back in 1964. The 911 series is a rear engine, two-door four-seat sports car which got its first GT model back in 1999 with the GT3 nomenclature. Recently the company also highlighted its entire GT3 range as the company celebrated 25 years of the 911 GT3 series. So it does indicate that the upcoming 911 GT model will be introduced with 911 GT3 nomenclature to commemorate 25 years of the GT3 range. This upcoming model will be based on the latest iteration of the 911 model which is a 2025 model year vehicle under the code name 992.2. Porsche introduced the 2025 911 series earlier this year in May with the Carrera and Carrera Cabriolet moniker and the deliveries for the same are scheduled to begin this fall.

As the new 2025 911 series gains momentum in the market the company has come out with the announcement for the 2025 911 GT model which will most likely be introduced with the GT3 suffix. Sharing this update the company also revealed that it will be introducing two models under the 911 GT umbrella.
