Tata Curvv Dark Edition Now On Sale: Check Details

Tata Motors has introduced the Dark Edition of its Curvv SUV, expanding its black-themed special edition range. The new variant is offered only in the top-spec Accomplished S and Accomplished +A trims. The Dark Edition is priced between Rs 16.49 lakh and Rs 19.52 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai), depending on the variant and powertrain.

The Curvv Dark Edition comes with two engine options. The first is a 1.2L turbocharged petrol engine that delivers 123bhp and 225Nm of torque. The second is a 1.5L diesel engine producing 116bhp and 260Nm. Both engines are available with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

The model gets cosmetic updates in line with other Dark Editions from Tata. The exterior features Carbon Black paint, black bumpers, gloss-black grille and 18-inch black alloy wheels. A ‘#Dark’ emblem is positioned on the fenders.

On the inside, the Dark edition features a black theme, with dark leatherette seats, black dashboard elements and a black roof liner. Rear window sunshades and ‘#Dark’ embossing on the headrests are also part of the design package.

In terms of equipment, the Curvv Dark Edition retains all features from the standard top-spec trims, including a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats and reclining rear seats. In terms of Safety and tech, it comes with six airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, Level 2 ADAS, gesture-controlled powered tailgate and Alexa connectivity are also included.

With this launch, Tata positions the Curvv Dark Edition directly against rivals like the Citroen Basalt Dark Edition, offering a similarly styled coupe SUV in a competitive price range.

The base variant, Accomplished S, is priced at Rs 16.49 lakh for the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol manual version, while the dual-clutch automatic version costs Rs 17.99 lakh. For diesel, prices begin at Rs 16.69 lakh for the manual and go up to Rs 18.19 lakh for the automatic. The higher-spec Accomplished +A trim is priced at Rs 17.99 lakh (petrol manual) and Rs 19.49 lakh (petrol automatic), while the diesel versions cost Rs 18.02 lakh and Rs 19.52 lakh respectively.
