Toyota Fortuner, Innova Hycross And Others Drive Monthly Car Sales Up By 33 Percent In India For April 2025

Toyota India car sales surged by 33 percent in April 2025, despite a plant shutdown for maintenance. The company sold 27,324 vehicles, a significant increase from 20,494 units in April 2024, driven by strong domestic sales and exports, reflecting their commitment to the Indian market.

Toyota has today shared the passenger vehicles sales data for April 2025. Sharing this update the company shared that last month the company has posted a positive growth of over thirty three percent in the Indian market despite its plant being shut from April 21-25, 2025 for maintenance.

Toyota Monthly Car Sales: April 2025

In April 2025 Toyota managed to sell a total of 27,324 units of passenger vehicles (including PVs sold domestically plus exports from India). This sales figure represents an increase in year-on-year total monthly passenger vehicle sales by 6,830 units which further translates into a 33.32 percent growth in year-on-year total monthly passenger vehicle sales. In April 2024 Toyota posted a total passenger vehicle sales of 20,494 units.
In April 2025 Toyota managed to sell 24,833 units of passenger vehicles domestically in the Indian market. This sales figure represents a year-on-year increase in monthly domestic passenger vehicles sales by 6,133 units which further translates into a 32.32 percent growth in year-on-year monthly domestic passenger vehicle sales. In April 2024 Toyota posted a domestic passenger vehicle sales of 18,700 units.
In April 2025 Toyota exported 2,491 units of passenger vehicles from India. This represents a year-on-year increase in monthly passenger vehicle exports by 697 units which further translates into a 38.85 percent year-on-year growth in monthly passenger vehicle exports. In April 2024 Toyota exported 1,794 units of passenger vehicles.
