NueGo Starts Electric Bus Service Between Delhi And Lucknow At Rs 999

NueGo's electric buses have a range of more than 250 km per charge and undergo 25 safety inspections, including checks of mechanical and electrical systems. Charging and operational logistics are managed to allow smooth long-distance connectivity between major cities.

This route is part of NueGo’s wider expansion in electric mass transit. The company operates over 300 electric buses and manages more than 500 departures daily. NueGo is aiming to grow its presence on high-demand intercity routes in India.

The buses come with systems like geo-location tracking via the NueGo mobile app and on-board staff. Select terminals offer lounge access. Safety features include speed limits (capped at 80 km/h), CCTV surveillance, GPS tracking and breathalyzer tests for drivers. Women passengers can opt for "Pink Seat" booking and access a 24x7 helpline.

The launch follows the completion of NueGo’s Kashmir to Kanyakumari (E-K2K) journey, a public demonstration of electric bus travel across multiple regions.
