River EV Crosses Rs 100 Crore Revenue, Reports 1,000 Monthly Sales

River currently has 20 outlets across multiple cities including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mysore, Hubli, Visakhapatnam, Kochi, Coimbatore, Vellore and Tirupati. The company plans to enter new markets in the coming weeks, including Trivandrum, Vijayawada and Pune.

The company aims to expand its footprint to more than 100 cities by 2026. This will include a mix of company-owned stores and dealership-operated outlets as part of its national growth strategy.

Last Year in November, River gave the first update to its "Indie" electric scooter, also known as the SUV of scooters, the updated version gets a single-speed gearbox with chain drive that increases durability and reduces maintenance costs. The River Indie is available in two new colors, Winter White and Storm Grey, with the existing Monsoon Blue, Summer Red and Spring Yellow. The scooter is priced at Rs 1,42,999 (ex-showroom Bengaluru).

The River Indie retains its 55 liters of lockable storage, (43-liter under seat storage and a 12-liter glovebox). River Indie offers three riding modes—Eco, Ride and Rush and has a top speed of 90 kmph in Rush mode. It offers a riding range of 110 km in Eco mode on a single charge and goes from 0 to 40 kmph in 3.7 seconds.
