The Triumph Scrambler 400 X measures 2,117mm in length, 901mm in width, 1,169mm in height and has a wheelbase spanning 1,417mm. The motorcycle has a ground clearance of 195 mm and fuel tank capacity of 13 litres.

The KTM 390 Adventure is offered with two engine options: a 349.32cc and a 398.63cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, four-stroke DOHC engine. The smaller engine produces 40.93bhp and 33.5Nm, while the larger 398.63cc unit develops 46PS and 39Nm of peak torque.

The Triumph Scrambler 400 X gets a 398cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 37PS and 37.5Nm of peak torque.

The KTM 390 Adventure comes with WP APEX USD front forks offering around 200mm of travel and a WP APEX rear monoshock with approximately 205mm of travel. Braking duties are handled by 320mm front and 240mm rear discs, along with Cornering ABS and switchable Off-Road ABS. Other features include cruise control, a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, an adjustable windscreen and LED lighting.

The Triumph Scrambler 400 X features 43mm upside-down Big Piston forks with 150mm of wheel travel. It rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels. Braking is handled by a 320mm front disc with a four-piston radial caliper and a 230mm rear disc. It also gets dual-channel ABS. Other features include full-LED lighting with a distinctive DRL and headlight grille, a semi-digital instrument console with an analogue speedometer and integrated LCD screen, gear-position indicator, a side-mounted USB-C charging socket and an anti-theft engine immobiliser.
