Nissan Tekton vs Maruti Suzuki Victoris Spec Comparison: What’s Different?

Nissan has recently introduced the Tekton SUV in India. The Tekton is introduced in the highly competitive compact SUV segment in the country where it competes with a plethora of other products. Today we are putting the Tekton up against the Maruti Suzuki Victoris to see how they match up in a specification comparison.

The Nissan Tekton is available in an ex-showroom price range of Rs 10.49 to Rs. 18.59 lakh.

The Maruti Suzuki Victoris is available in an ex-showroom price range of Rs 10.49 to Rs 19.98 lakh.

The Nissan Tekton measures 4,349mm in length, 1,815mm in width, 1,674mm in height and has a wheelbase spanning 2,657 mm.

The Maruti Suzuki Victoris measures 4,360mm in length, 1,795mm in width, 1,655mm in height and has a wheelbase spanning 2,600mm.

Nissan has introduced the Tekton with two engine options - the 1.0L turbocharged petrol engine generating 98.63bhp and 166Nm of torque and the 1.3L turbocharged petrol engine generating 160.77bhp and 280Nm of torque. Transmission options include 6-speed MT and 6-speed DCT.

Maruti Suzuki Victoris also gets two engine options - the 1.5L 40cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 101bhp and 139Nm of torque and the 1.5L strong hybrid powertrain with a petrol engine working in tandem with the electric powertrain, here the petrol engine develops 91bhp and 122Nm of torque and the electric powertrain develops 79bhp and 141Nm of torque. Transmission options include - 5-speed MT, 6-speed AT and eCVT. The Victoris is also available with factory fitted underbody CNG and all-wheel drive (AWD) options.

The Tekton comes equipped with features like a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof, rear AC vents, 360-degree camera, electric tailgate, electronic parking brake, wireless charging with cooling, 360-degree camera, traffic sign recognition, Connected car features and more.

The Victoris comes equipped with features like a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, ambient lighting, powered tailgate with gesture control, 8-speaker sound system and more.
