Why Are Buyers In Love With The Tata Punch?

The arrival of the Punch EV this year means that you can choose either electric or CNG or pure petrol power. This means that buyers do not have to look elsewhere if they want an alternative fuel. They can shop at the Tata dealership itself. The CNG option with the twin-cylinder technology also means that you get plenty of space in the boot unlike other CNG cars where the boot is almost non existent. That is also something that aids practicality which means you can actually use the CNG powered Punch’s boot for genuine highway use for those weekend getaways. It’s really attention to detail that is helping Tata win new fans.

The new touchscreen on the Punch EV looks swell. It comes loaded with lots of useable apps and even games from the Tata EV arcade. The screen is intuitive to operate and also has very good legibility. Along with this you get an excellent sound system which means that audiophiles will enjoy their experience inside this car.

Most Punch buyers are buying their first cars and most likely have learnt to drive very recently. This means high set seats are important as are large and big side view mirrors for that added edge. The Punch delivers both these things. It also has a flat bonnet, which means that you can see the edges of the bonnet from the front seats. This is again great for new drivers, who are still learning the art of manoeuvring around town traffic.

All these points no doubt make the Punch a good proposition, but there are some misses as well. Stay tuned for another story where we highlight what could have been improved on the car.
